These gentle mammals are like the dogs of the sea: smiley faces, good at tricks and they just love a tickle under the chin.
This new series follows day to day life at the Dolphin Research Centre in sunny Florida Keys. It has a buoyant dolphin community of retired or sick show animals and a team of volunteers dedicated to looking after them and educating the wider community about marine welfare.
The show also shows dolphins in the wild, joining a Bahamas team as they track the sub-marine species and giving an up close and personal view of the cheery creatures.
