The playboy plastic surgeons return for the second half of the fifth season of the ridiculously addictive - and simply ridiculous - drama, Nip/Tuck.
The episode opens with a surprising and violent attack on Sean, as psych patient and former agent Colleen catches up with the surgeon.
But five minutes (that's four months in TV time) later everything is peachy, Sean (Dylan Walsh) is in a wheelchair and the dynamic duo prepare to return to work.
But will Sean be able to wield a scalpel after undergoing such violent trauma?
As if we hadn't already seen enough drama, Sean and Christian's (Julian McMahon) first consultation following the stabbing is a surprise. Liz (Roma Maffia) wants breast surgery.
As the season continues there's tragedy in store when a major character is diagnosed with breast cancer, a shocking hook up is on the cards and tree man pays a visit to McNamara/Troy. No, really.
Silly it may be, but Nip/Tuck remains inventive, unpredictable and scalpel sharp. The laughs and excitement of previous seasons are gone, replaced by an eerie and uncomfortable dark tone that makes it all the more watchable.
