While we're waiting impatiently for the next series of Being Human, here's a new show to give us a little blood sucker fix; ooh, we just love a sexy vampire here in TV Towers.
Prepared to be bitten by the bloodcurdling bug.
In the not too distant future, vampires and humans uneasily co-exist. The creatures of the night can now walk abroad without a neck fixation due to the invention of True Blood, a synthetic blood substitute.
Vampires now pay their taxes, are regarded as citizens and there's no longer any reason to be scared of them.
Except of course, it'd not quite that simple. And you should be afraid. Very afraid.
The action takes place in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, and follows waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin - The Piano) who is sucked in by one-time civil war soldier, now out-of-the-coffin vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer - NY-LON).
We can see why. And we're preparing to have a big bite taken out of our TV viewing schedule all summer.
Check when True Blood is on TV.
